Standard 7 refers to engaging in professional development. Colloborating and connecting with my co-workers within the school has been a valuable component in my professional development journey. The exchange of ideas, shared experiences, and collective problem-solving not only widens my perspective but also provides practical insights into effective teaching practices. Working closely with my colleagues allows me to draw from a wealth of expertise, adapting and evolving my teaching methods to better suit the diverse needs of our students. The camaraderie built through collaboration not only enriches my teaching toolkit but also creates a supportive network where we collectively thrive and contribute to the overall success of our educational community.

Through collaboration with my co-workers i was able to tweak my classroom routines, by introducing library and budding reading with the grade 4/5 class, using the idea of math stem bins from another class and implementing it into my own. I can get new ideas that are beneficial for my not only me but also for my students. Ultimately, the bonds formed through collaboration not only elevate my teaching skills but also cultivate a sense of unity and mutual support, making the teaching profession a dynamic and fulfilling journey.This collaborative environment encourages me to step out of my comfort zone, experiment with new teaching methodologies, and embrace innovative technologies
